Configure Your Wardrobe: The Independent Type
The Independent Type is self-assured, consistent, and determined, but also likes to keep a distance. He is seen as a perfectionist who knows exactly what he wants and is particularly critical in choosing his home furnishings. Thus, he also prefers a clear design language in the wardrobe configurator and pursues a more linear, cool interior style without much fuss. The colour selection for the custom wardrobe is also rather simple and unexciting, featuring black, cigar brown, or white. Disorder or even dust is strictly prohibited here.
The interior should be as simple and straightforward as possible for the Independent Type: a black, solid smooth leather sofa with angular contours and floor-to-ceiling design. Predominantly closed wardrobe fronts are also ideal. They provide the desired order and symmetry. The special feature: a handle-less “push-to-open” closing mechanism. It couldn’t be more straightforward. Do you see yourself in this type of furnishing? How will you configure your wardrobe?
Plan Your Wardrobe: The Caring Type
Proximity, empathy, and helpfulness characterise the Caring Type. In stark contrast to the Independent Type, he loves comfort and opulence. His living room features warm colours, many soft fabrics like blankets and curtains, and often a robustly curved armchair. A fantastic eye-catcher that requires minimal effort is the unique armchair legs, which can be easily planned into a custom piece of furniture. When the Caring Type plans a wardrobe, he tends to keep it in warm decor colours and often works with wooden elements. The vast selection in the wardrobe configurator also allows for plenty of individual freedom here.
Since the Caring Type feels most comfortable in cosy and intricate living spaces, such as in old bay windows or attic flats, it is important that no valuable living space is wasted in the furnishings. Attic wardrobes and niche wardrobes are in high demand here.
Custom Wardrobe: The Stable Type
Settle in to stay – the Stable Type is disciplined and conscientious. Tradition and loyalty are particularly important to him, which is why he enjoys surrounding himself with antiques. He cannot get excited about eccentric designs as eye-catchers in his home. Instead, timeless classics can be found in his living room that have proven themselves over decades due to their durability and quality.
As this type loves order and precision, a tailor-made, spacious, and well-lit wardrobe with many well-organised elements for neatly storing clothes must not be missing in his home. However, the wardrobe configurator also allows for the planning of other types of wardrobes. For instance, a ceiling-high wardrobe with glass fronts can be used to transform one or more walls into a library. This not only creates space for collected works and encyclopaedias but also perfectly showcases cherished collector’s and souvenir items. Less decorative items, such as folders and documents, are best hidden away in closed wardrobes and chests of drawers.
Individual Wardrobe: The Lively Type
The Lively Type will also find what he’s looking for in the wardrobe planner and can assemble a wardrobe tailored to his needs. This living character is spontaneous and enthusiastic, reluctant to settle down. His love for enjoyment and improvisation is also reflected in his furnishing style. Therefore, the furnishings and decorations of these individuals must primarily be trendy and striking. Often, unique eye-catching furniture in bright colours and daring shapes adorns the living room of the Lively Type. This character will be excited about configuring his custom wardrobe with a choice of fronts in over 190 possible RAL colours, showcasing his personality with a vibrant selection.
Thus, shelves and sofas in neutral colours and forms help to focus attention on the essentials and ensure that the space isn’t overcrowded. Rather than constantly redecorating entirely, simpler furniture can be enhanced with accessories like cushions, blankets, or vases in the respective colours of the favourite piece of furniture to complete the look. This not only saves costs but also avoids unnecessary moving of furniture.
Which of these character types resonates with you? Or do you embody several characters at once? We look forward to seeing how you will design your individual wardrobe and what ideas the wardrobe configurator will inspire in you!
